Hello all,
According to Greg Hernandez of Out in Hollywood, this past Saturday, November 17th, Luke MacFarlane attended the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center Gala at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel.
Here is some info about what the LAGLC does:
The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center provides a broad array of services for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender community. Through its Jeffrey Goodman Special Care Clinic and on-site pharmacy, the Center offers free and low-cost health and mental health services, HIV/AIDS medical care, and HIV/STD testing and prevention. The Center also offers legal, social, cultural, and educational services with unique programs for seniors, families, and youth including a 24-bed transitional living program for homeless youth.

I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up but if you read Greg’s blog entry about the meeting with Luke, it says that Luke said that he’s enjoying being back on Brothers & Sisters (not exact quote). I’m not sure what episode they’re filming and I realize the strike will effect it but if Luke’s quote is meant to be taken in the [present] tense the way it sounds then maybe Luke is still filming and maybe Scotty will be sticking around longer than the spoiler/foilers say? I don’t know…but I also don’t doubt that Eric Winter will be coming back.
I don’t understand why they can’t have both Jason and Scotty stay on. One is the boyfriend, the other is now a good friend, and it would interesting to see that dynamic played out among the characters.

Shelly: Ep 2.11 is being filmed right now. The question is for ep 2.12, will Luke be in it? I think that’s a big thing and so what Greg told me is that Luke’s very tight-lipped about his appearance on B&S at the moment. I think it’s one of those spoilers that just cannot be talked about or be given away. That’s why there’s that dilemma of “is he” or “isn’t he” in the series for ep 2.12.
It’s all a wait and see for now.

I didn’t take these. LoL. I have no idea who Greg had to take these pics. I wish there was more of a hi-res version. Luke has too cute of a face to not have it blown up in hi-res.

Well, Hernandez does mention he didn’t go the press line route. Hopefully he won’t remain as skittish to press as he seems ’cause, yeah, he does need to be seen hi-res if not more often, hopefully to promote both projects and causes.

True…
But overall, I’m just happy Luke is not shying away from events such as these, even with the tabloid rumors. It’s good and great for him to be noticed and get noticed.
