After over a month of waiting, it’s finally here, episode 2×10, “The Feast of the Epiphany“. However, Luke only had one very short scene. Boo!
However, after having a Luke withdraw for over a month or so, here are the screencaps (not so many) and video clip. As always, the video clip can be accessed via the Media Centre under TV Clips > Brothers & Sisters > Season 2.

Thanks for the clip, allthough I am puzzled. They are apparently leaving together, but Scotty is not a the dinner. Did Kevin give an explanation? And what is it with the remark that ‘we’re only accidentally living together’? They invited Kevin but not Scotty, as if they are not in a relationship or something? Is that also why Scotty makes the remark about Jason coming back and him being back in the Ranchero? Cause he may have ‘kidding’, I’ve heard him deliver better punchlines
It wasn’t a funny observation. Does he believe that this is what the Walkers think? Jason comes back = exit Scotty?
Oh, I hope it will appear on Tudou soon, usually it is about 5 days…
+ Now I really can’t wait for episode 2.11 and 2.12!!!

Scotty is heading for work. Kevin does explain to his family where Scotty is.
I am not sure about the remark from Scotty. It’s weird…as is the remark from Kevin later on with his family about him being “single” or whatever. Yeah, this episode sucked hard.

So cute anyway. Like that sweater [also worn in 2.06?] I think the comment about the ranchero was just foreshadowing, letting Kevin know he still isn’t quite ‘there’ yet as far as security in their relationship when it comes to Jason.

The ranchero was such a foreshadowing. I think Scotty will end up in his ranchero in ep 2.11 for sure, but I don’t think he’ll stay there for long.

Well my explanation for being “single” is that he’s SNA, i.e. Single but Not Available as opposed to S&A (Single and Available). As for Scott with a Y, my guess is that he’s probably still skeptical about Kevin’s choice. You know, if Jason came back, Kevin would go back to him and leave Scotty.
Kevin did come clean to Scotty at the end of the episode - my guess is he’ll be faced with a tough choice in “The Missionary Imposition” (the title can’t be any clearer) as, my guess, Jason will be trying to “lure” him back. However I hope that Kev will be with Scotty in the end.

The only thing is that Kevin only came clean halfway…he only told Scotty about the email but not about the lunch date. So, is Kevin really hiding this fact from Scotty? That’s what I like to know. It may be a plot contrivance, but it’s annoying that it’s left on a cliffhanger in a sort of way.

I agree with Alfred on the being ’single’ thing.
Kong, we don’t know if Kevin didn’t tell about the lunchdate. The telephone conversation wasn’t over, when the next scene came, so maybe the emphasize is on Kevin telling Scotty about Jason’s return, rather than the impending lunch date. If Kevin is smart he prints the email so Scotty can see for himself how vague Jason is.
I have said it here on the forum, the entire Kevin/Jason/Scotty story is at times so vague because you don’t get all the info you need to form an opinion. All is hear-say.
I was rather more puzzled by the whole start of the Scotty/Kevin scene. Why was Kevin angry at Tommy in particular, Nora made the date, Sarah talked him to getting his brothers to come (which he did) So why singling out Tommy? Scotty’s reply made no sense. Unless…
I think Kevin was angry about Tommy’s cheating, Scotty’s comment that Kevin shouldn’t judge is correct. After all, technically, Kevin cheated on Jason with Scotty I guess that’s why Scotty said ‘we’re accidentally living together.’ as opposed to Tommy and Lena NOT being in the same house. How is that for an explanation?

I got to read a bit of that email (thank god for hi-def hdtv) so I saw what Jason wrote to Kevin (or bits of pieces of it since Matthew was blocking most of the email on the screen). It’s pretty nonchalant email and really doesn’t say much except that he apologized for not being in contact with him, and yadda yadda yadda, and asked about how his sisters were doing and Nora and such.
Anyway, I just find it weird that Kevin is hiding something from Scotty. I don’t think he is coming clean. No one coming clean or being truthful would be so jumpy as Kevin is.

This is what I thought when I saw the scene, marea.
